WordPress Website Build

Having an online presence is essential to being noticed. You can use social media, but we all know that they change their algorithms more times than I am sure you change socks in a week. It is well documented that many of the social media platforms are making it harder for businesses to be found without paying for the views, or there is so much noise it is hard to stand out from the crowd without posting hourly – and who has time for that!

Consider this: The current Twitter algorithms prevent you from posting the same post once an hour, or every 10 posts, so you would need to come up with at least 10 posts a day.

That is why a website is so important to your marketing plans.

You own the website and its content, you decide what your followers see and if you only want to post once a month (through a blog or updated content) then you can. A website is branded to your business, rather than competing with the branding of the social media platform, and the information laid out in a way you prefer.

But you have to actually the build the website to begin with, and this is where RedRite’s Website build comes in. In just a few steps you can have a fully functioning website up and running, fully branded and built to include everything you need.

It takes just 3 steps to have your website up and running.

  • Select your theme and decide your page layouts

I have a number of available free themes, which are very versatile for a number of websites. If you want something different I can assist you in finding a theme that will do all you want within your budget. Already have your theme? That makes things even easier!

  • Provide your content, branding and colour charts

Content is the most important aspect of your website. It grabs visitors attention, it provides them information they need, and its where SEO comes in to affect. If you have content, perfect! If not, then don’t worry I can help. Branding makes the website unique to you and can be imagery, colours, layouts even shapes. Don’t know what hex codes are? No problem I can help locate them.

  • Wait for your website to be built

Once you have your theme selected, and have sent across all your content then you can have your website up and running quickly. If you need an E-commerce or Membership website then this can take slightly longer than a simple website.

What about SEO???

YES, there is the pesky SEO to consider

But when a website is built correctly SEO can be easily maintained. Each of the websites I built are built to aid in a good SEO ranking, along with top tips to maintaining a good SEO grading.

All images are uploaded with Alt tags, and are compressed to minimise the size of your website and improve load times. Alt tags are used by search engines to identify what an image is showing, it is also used by software for the blind.

All pages are set up with titles and meta tag/descriptions, with the minimal required text. Meta tags and descriptions let search engines know what is on the pages itself, and is a good place to put your keywords! Minimal text is necessary because search engines love text, the more the better. If a page has just a few lines of content, well then search engines may over look it even if the content is valuable.

What if I need an E-commerce or Membership Website?

Then you can have one.

My Websites can be built using Woocommerce, an online store platform used to sell products and services. Comes with shop page layouts, payment gateways and individual product pages with descriptions and reviews.

There are also a number of Membership plugins to fulfil what you need. These can allow you to drip feed content, or share information all at once, to visitors who have paid for access. Several different level of members can be created, each giving access to different content for set fees. (Think course websites, each membership give access to different course information).

Additionally, training can be given on how to upload the products or set up the memberships so you understand exactly how it works for future reference.

The available Payment gateways include PayPal or Stripe, both of which take credit cards and can set up subscriptions.

How Much Does it Cost?

Time for the nitty gritty bit…

A basic website build starts from just £500, and increases depending on the add-ons you need.

You will need to purchase your hosting, domain and theme before I start (unless you wish to use a theme I already have access to) – I can assist in the purchase of these so you get exactly what you need and will work for your website.

All basic websites include a Home page, an About page, a Contact page and a blog facility, as well as pages in regards to your product/services.

Add-ons include:

  • E-commerce platforms
  • Membership set ups
  • Additional pages
  • Content Creation
