Website Maintenance Schedule

This is a Schedule to the General Terms of RedRite. This Schedule applies to the Website Maintenance Package defined below, and as stipulated in an Agreement.

1. WHAT REDRITE DO

1.1 Minor Content Updates Included:

Minor updates to website content include any of the following and are limited to no more than 90 minutes worth of work

  • Small text changes (not including changing an entire page of text)
  • Adding or modifying a link
  • Adding or changing a photo/image
  • Adding or modifying a menu item
  • Adding or modifying meta data (keywords, descriptions, title, etc. on a page)
  • Adding or modifying a product in a catalog or e-commerce system
  • Adding or modifying a calendar event
  • Modifying code (CSS/HTML)

1.2 Website Updates Included:

Minor updates to a website include any of the following where a licence is held by the Client:

  • Plugins
  • Themes
  • WordPress
  • Databases
  • Backups of the entire website and Database

1.2.1 Where a licence is not held for the above it will be the responsibility of the Client to obtain the required licence in order for the updates to commence.

1.3 Website Support:

Any enquiries or help desk/email support offered in relation to the website and any areas mentioned above will be included in the 90mins Content Update time limit.

1.3.1 any support requests outside of these 90mins will be charged at the current hourly rate, and the fees payable advised before work commences.

2. Client Responsibility

2.1 The client will ensure:

2.1.1 To provide copies of any licencing information in regards to the plugins or themes that need updating. This may include login details to access the licensing information in order to conduct an update.

2.1.2 To ensure RedRite has access to the website for the purpose of providing the Maintenance Services. RedRite uses ManageWP to achieve this, which may result in the use of a plugin, or user access.

2.1.3 To Provide if required access to the web hosting account where needed to conduct content or website updates.

3. Client Acknowledgement

3.1 Client agrees and acknowledges:

3.1.1 Client understands that all work for monthly maintenance tasks will be scheduled according to RedRite’s workflow. We have a process and maintain sites for many Clients, therefore all website updates work that counts towards your monthly time allowance is done on a first come first serve basis, except in the case of a total website down issue, which would be considered an “emergency.”

3.1.2 Failure by Client to answer a question critical to the completion of a task within 5 business days may cause that task to be and moved to the “end of the line” in our work queue.

3.1.3 The amount of time allocated for content updates is 90mins

3.1.4 Once the time allocated in their Maintenance Package has been reached for the month, any unfinished tasks on the Client’s task list will be charged at the current hourly rate

3.1.5 Maintenance Agreement does not include training on how to use your website, WordPress, or email, but we can provide training at additional cost.

3.1.6 RedRite is not responsible for changes made to Client’s web site(s) by other parties, including the Client themselves.

3.1.7 Client represents and unconditionally guarantees that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks, or other artwork provided are owned by Client, or that Client has permission from the rightful owner to use each of these elements, and RedRite or its subcontractors are not liable on any claim or suit arising from the use of such elements furnished by Client.
